The Pond Hop'r is a 1995 Penn Yan 223 Rage deep-v fishing vessel.  It is 22 feet long with an 8.5 foot beam.  This a trailerable fishing boat but is still able to accommodate a charter trip for 1 to 5 people. 

This boat is certified annually by the New York State Department of Parks and Recreation Marine Services Unit as a Public Vessel and also undergoes the voluntary USCG Auxillary Charter Boat inspection.  The purpose of these annual inspections is to insure that the vessel is safe for charter operation and that it is equipped with all the proper safety equipment. 

This boat is fully equipped for trolling with Cannon electric downriggers, Big Jon electric planer system, Traxstech rod holders and accessories, Daiwa, Ugly Stick and Penn trolling rods and reels, two VHF marine radios, Raymarine, Humminbird and Fish Hawk electronics, and a Simrad Autopilot.  I also have an ever-growing collection of proven fish-catching lures and attractors.  Some of these are Northern King and Michigan Stinger spoons, Dreamweaver Spin Doctor and ProTroll attractors, and A-tom-mik trolling flies.
